How to challenge a Enfield PCN

You send it yourself. Look at the ticket for the issuing authority. If it names London Borough of Enfield, the challenge goes to them.

  1. Photograph the ticket or copy the PCN number, vehicle registration, date, time and location.
  2. Write the informal challenge here, print it or save a PDF. £5, UK bank transfer.
  3. Send it to London Borough of Enfield using the method on the notice or on their site. We do not email it for you.

If the PCN was on the windscreen, the first step with London Borough of Enfield is usually an informal challenge — a letter or their online form. If they reject it, they should send a Notice to Owner so you can make a formal representation. Only after a Notice of Rejection can you appeal to the independent adjudicator at London Tribunals. We do none of those filings for you.

Red-route, congestion charge, ULEZ and some camera PCNs are issued by Transport for London, not by Enfield. The issuer is printed on the ticket. If it says TfL, use TfL’s process, not this borough’s.
